The City of Canyon Lake and the Canyon Lake Fire Department will host a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony to honor the men, women, and first responders who lost their lives during the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 11, at 8:30 a.m. at the 9/11 memorial in front of the fire station on Vacation Drive.
This year’s ceremony will include remarks from community leaders, prayer, a ceremonial ringing of the bell, and a moment of silence to reflect on the lives lost and the bravery of those who responded.
Later in the evening, the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association will be hosting a 9/11 tribute for the community. The event will include moving dedications, inspiring speeches, and a DJ playing patriotic music to honor the spirit of unity and resilience that emerged from the tragedy.
