City of Lake Elsinore braces for ‘Superbloom 2024’

The City of Lake Elsinore is gearing up for “Superbloom 2024,” collaborating closely with state, county, local, transportation, and public safety officials.

With a unified approach, the city said it is proactively taking steps to ensure a coordinated response that prioritizes the safety and well-being of both residents and visitors, preserves the environment, and minimizes disruptions to residents’ lives.

Strict enforcement measures are being put in place to maintain order and safety while preserving the natural beauty of the area. This includes the closure of the Walker Canyon Trail parking entrance and Lake Street, along with law enforcement patrols to ensure compliance.

Live feeds at Walker Canyon will enable remote monitoring. Regular updates on the city’s website and social media platforms will help to keep the public informed. Shuttle services will be on standby for weekend use if needed.

Through these concerted efforts, the city is prepared to welcome visitors to witness the beauty of the poppy bloom while ensuring the protection of its environment and the safety of its residents.
