In an effort to improve public safety and reduce distracted driving, the City of Lake Elsinore has installed 10 new solar-powered radar speed feedback signs.
The signs were placed at fixed locations around the city to provide real-time personalized speed feedback to motorists in hopes of getting drivers to shift their focus back onto the road and reduce their speed.
Additionally, two mobile radar trailers were purchased and will be rotated through heavy traffic areas on a regular basis to discourage distracted driving.
The new signs are located at Alberhill Ranch Rd., Canyon Hills Rd. (2), Diamond Dr. (2), Lakeshore Dr., Lincoln St., McVicker Canyon Rd., Railroad Canyon Rd., Summer Hill Dr.
