The City of Lake Elsinore’s Economic Development Department announced Pins N’ Pockets as the city’s December Business in Action Spotlight, a program that is a part of the department’s Building Better Businesses (B3) program designed to showcase and celebrate the diverse range of businesses in Lake Elsinore and their significant contributions to the community and region.

Pins ‘N Pockets opened its doors in 2006, offering more than 25 bowling lanes, an array of arcade games, a two-level laser tag arena, themed escape rooms, karaoke nights, a sports bar serving American comfort food, and private party rooms for special events.

Pins N’ Pockets has been recognized as the two-time Large Business of the Year, a Top 3 Family Recreation Center for all of Riverside County per the Press Enterprise.

A member of the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber, Pins N’ Pockets has hosted a variety of events that include eight State of City Addresses, Chamber Installation Dinners, Chamber Salute to the Electeds, and numerous business ribbon cuttings.

A staple in Lake Elsinore since 2006, Pins N’ Pockets has contributed to toy, food, and clothing drives, and supports the Lake Elsinore community’s families and sports teams with free play entertainment events, including for those with special needs. It also opened its doors in times of crisis such as for the Holy Fire in 2018.

Pins N’ Pockets was recognized at the December 10 city council meeting, Mayor Steve Manos noted that he is proud to have held his State of the City Address multiple times at Pins N’ Pockets and thanked them for coming to the Lake Elsinore community. “I hope that you’ll continue to have success and… thanks for everything you do for our community,” Mayor Manos stated to owner Tim O’Byrne.

The Businesses in Action Spotlight program features one local business each month that exemplifies excellence and commitment to enhancing the Lake Elsinore community. The selection process involves a monthly review by a committee, with nominations submitted by both businesses and community members. Chosen businesses receive several forms of recognition, including a presentation during a city council meeting, highlighting on the City’s Economic Development website, and a 30-second professional video production created by the Economic Development.
