City of Lake Elsinore welcomes new 20,000-square-foot indoor volleyball facility

The City of Lake Elsinore announced that FIGS Volleyball Club has selected Lake Elsinore as the home of its newest indoor volleyball training facility. The announcement marks another milestone in the city’s strategy to become Southern California’s premier destination for action sports, recreation, and active lifestyles.

FIGS Volleyball Club will occupy nearly 20,000 square feet of indoor space, creating a premier training destination for volleyball athletes of all ages and skill levels. The facility will offer year-round youth instruction, competitive training, skills clinics, seasonal camps, leagues, and open gym opportunities designed to help athletes grow in a positive, supportive environment. The new facility is expected to become a regional destination for volleyball programming.

“Lake Elsinore is quickly becoming one of Southern California’s most exciting destinations for sports, recreation, and active lifestyles,” Mayor Bob Magee said. “The addition of FIGS Volleyball Club reflects the momentum our community is building as we implement our Action Sports Industry Growth & Attraction Plan. We are excited to welcome Juan, Evita, and the entire FIGS team to Lake Elsinore and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our youth, families, and local economy.”

Juan Figueroa, founder and CEO of FIGS Volleyball Club, said the city’s vision and commitment to sports and recreation made Lake Elsinore the clear choice for the organization’s newest facility.

“We couldn’t be more excited to become part of the Lake Elsinore community,” Figueroa said. “The city’s momentum, leadership, and commitment to becoming a regional hub for action sports made this an easy decision for us. We share that vision and are excited to provide a premier volleyball facility where young athletes can develop their skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories. We look forward to growing alongside the city and serving families throughout the region.”

“The recruitment of FIGS Volleyball Club demonstrates that our Action Sports Industry Growth & Attraction Plan is already producing results,” Economic Development Director Gina Gonzalez said. “Our strategy is focused on attracting unique recreational amenities that enhance quality of life, create tourism opportunities, support local businesses, and provide new experiences for residents. FIGS Volleyball Club is another outstanding addition to Lake Elsinore’s growing action sports ecosystem, and we are excited to welcome them to our community.”

FIGS Volleyball Club is currently under construction and is expected to open to the public in early fall 2026. For more information about FIGS Volleyball Club, visit www.figsvolleycom.
