Rebekah Kramer has been appointed deputy city manager of Menifee, following three years of service as assistant to the city manager.
Kramer replaces Jonathan Nicks, who left to work for the City of Indio.
With more than 25 years of management experience in the public and private sectors, Kramer brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.
Before joining the City of Menifee, Kramer served as the assistant city manager for the City of San Bernardino, the second highest-ranking position for the city with more than 700 full-time employees and a population of more than 220,000 residents.
“Rebekah possesses exceptional communication, management, and analytical skills, and is dedicated and committed to our organization,” City Manager Armando G. Villa said. “She has a tremendous amount of institutional knowledge that will be instrumental in helping us to carry out the mission and vision of our city council.”
As the deputy city manager, Kramer will assume the role of director of Community Services, provide oversight to the City Clerk Department, and manage ongoing citywide special projects and operations.

Kramer holds a Bachelor of Science in social and behavioral science and a master’s degree in organizational management, further contributing to her strong foundation in leadership and administration.
