Menifee’s new Interactive Street Projects and Construction Updates Map will enhance the city’s street project and construction updates by providing a digital representation of where traffic-related activities are occurring throughout Menifee.Menifee’s street projects and construction updates are getting an upgrade, the city announced.
The City of Menifee Geographic Information System (GIS) team in collaboration with the Public Works Department has developed an interactive online map that provides an easy-to-read, visual representation of construction projects, road closures, and other traffic-related activities.
The new online map will enhance the city’s street project and construction updates by providing a digital representation of where traffic-related activities are occurring throughout the City of Menifee.
Located on the City of Menifee website, the Street Projects and Construction Updates Map features a dropdown display of active projects and updates which are also represented by icons on the map.
Users can scroll either through the project list or manipulate the map to see where projects are occurring throughout the city. A list of current projects in PDF format will also remain available on the website.
The map will be updated regularly but may not reflect the latest traffic conditions, unplanned maintenance work, or emergency road closures.
“The City of Menifee remains focused on integrating new technology to enhance the services that we provide to our community,” City Manager Armando Villa said. “This new digital map developed by our City staff will help provide a clear picture of where construction activity and road impacts are taking place citywide.”
To view the Street Projects and Construction Updates Map, visit www.cityofmenifee.us/traffic. The map will soon be incorporated into the City of Menifee app, available for download on both the Apple and Google Play stores.
