The City of Menifee invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of Talavera Park on Saturday, February 12, at 10 a.m. at 27931 Calle Talavera.

The first 50 people to arrive at the grand opening and ribbon-cutting will receive a free plastic bento box and a City of Menifee swag bag.

The City of Menifee’s Healthy Menifee and Rec N’ Trek teams will be onsite to provide fun and healthy activities, games, and other family-friendly events, including the official ribbon-cutting ceremony to kick off the festivities.

Located north of McCall Boulevard and south of Ethanac Road, the three-acre park features a tot-lot, an accessible picnic shelter, and restrooms. The park also includes large grassy areas, planted foliage and trees, and walking pathways.

“Talavera Park will be a great addition to the City of Menifee’s expansive park system,” Mayor Pro Tem Dean Deines said. “Creating and maintaining premier outdoor destinations for Menifee families to enjoy remains a top priority for our city council.”
