City of Menifee seeking public input on Scott Road/Bundy Canyon Road Widening Project

The City of Menifee is planning major improvements for Scott Road/Bundy Canyon Road and is seeking public input to best align the project with the needs of the community.

Located west of the I-215, the Scott Road/Bundy Canyon Road Widening Project will expand the roadway between Haun Road and Sunset Avenue from a two-lane to a four-lane roadway with Class II buffered bicycle lanes along the corridor. These improvements are expected to help improve the overall safety and traffic flow of this well-traveled, east-to-west route between the cities of Menifee and Wildomar.

As a part of a regional effort to widen the corridor west to Interstate 15, the project assists future commercial and residential growth in the area. The corridor will ultimately be widened to six lanes – three in each direction – as outlined by the 2013 City of Menifee General Plan and its Circulation Element.

The city is conducting a survey to hear from the community on this project. The survey results will help ensure that community feedback is incorporated as the project progresses and will assist the city in its efforts to seek Federal funding. The survey will be available online until Tuesday, February 6, and is available in both English and Spanish versions. To take the survey in English, click here.
