In response to the continued impacts of the recent COVID-19 surge, the City of Menifee is extending its temporary closure of City Hall and other facilities to regular in-person services with an anticipated reopening on Monday, February 14.
During this extended closure, the city will begin offering limited appointments for in-person services beginning on Monday, January 31. Appointments will be available Monday through Friday and can be scheduled by calling 951-672-6777 or visiting www.cityofmenifee.us.
City Hall will continue to be open for business virtually via the “Zero Stop Shop,” which provides online resources for many city services. Customer service representatives will also be available by phone Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 951-672-6777. The Menifee Police Department will continue to be available by phone at 951-723-1500.
Public meetings will remain open for limited in-person attendance on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure social distancing. Attendees will be required to take a temperature check and wear a mask when indoors. Meetings can also be viewed remotely via the city’s Youtube channel.
The Senior Lunch Program provided by the Community Services Department will continue as a drive-thru format and indoor recreational classes and activities will remain postponed during the temporary closure.
The city said it will continue to actively monitor the COVID-19 situation and its operational impacts and will make any additional adjustments as necessary. “Our priority remains the health and wellbeing of our employees and the public,” Menifee City Manager Armando Villa said. “City staff is continuing to work diligently to increase our level of service while keeping our community safe.”
