City of Menifee to commemorate Memorial Day with remembrance ceremony and flyover

The City of Menifee invites the community to honor the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation. Menifee’s Annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wheatfield Park, 30627 Menifee Rd.

The ceremony will include special presentations, guest speakers, a remembrance message, wreath-laying, and a flyover. Attendees will be given flowers to place around the memorial wreath to honor their loved ones during the ceremony.

“Memorial Day is a day of reflection to pay respect to our fallen service members,” Mayor Pro Tem Dean Deines said. “Our country continues to thrive because of the sacrifices made by those who died protecting our freedom and values, and the City of Menifee is proud to honor their service.”
