The City of Menifee, in partnership with Waste Management, will be hosting four bulky item drop-off events in 2025. These free events, available exclusively to Menifee residents, provide an opportunity to dispose of large household items safely and conveniently. Proof of residency is required.
Each event will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or until bins reach capacity.

- Saturday, February 15, at Mt. San Jacinto College
- Saturday, April 26, at Quail Valley Elementary School
- Saturday, September 20, at Heritage High School
- Saturday, November 15, at Sun City Civic Association
To maximize the opportunity for participation, large appliances and mattresses will be limited to three per vehicle per trip. Off-loading assistance will not be available. Participants should be prepared to unload their own items.

- Waste

- Engines and motor parts
- Explosives and ammunition
- Fertilizer and herbicides
- Fluorescent tubes
- Gasoline and diesel fuel
- Hazardous and infectious waste
- Latex and oil paints
- Medications
- Motor oil
- Pool chemicals
- Propane tanks
- Sharps
- Tires
Residents who cannot attend the collection events can schedule a free pickup from their homes. Residents are allotted four free bulky item pickups annually (up to six bulky items total). To schedule a home pickup, contact Waste Management Customer Service at 800-423-9986.
