In partnership with Waste Management, the City of Menifee will be hosting its first bulky item drop-off event of 2022 on Saturday, February 5, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (or until bins are full) in the main parking lot of Mt. San Jacinto College, 28237 La Piedra Rd.
This free event is for Menifee residents only. No commercial waste will be allowed.
To maximize the opportunity for participation, large appliances and mattresses will have a limit of three per vehicle, per trip.
The following items will be accepted:
- Appliances
- Air conditioners
- Barbecue grills
- Bundled branches
- Bagged green
- Computers
- Chairs and couches
- Mattresses
- Microwaves
- Patio furniture
- TVs
- Waste
The following items will not be accepted:
- Batteries
- Bleach and tile cleaners
- Construction waste
- Empty drums
- Engines and motor parts
- Explosives and ammunition
- Fertilizer and herbicides
- Fluorescent tubes
- Gasoline and diesel fuel
- Hazardous and infectious waste
- Latex and oil paints
- Medications
- Motor oil
- Pool chemicals
- Propane tanks
- Sharps
- Tires

Menifee residents unable to attend this drop-off event can schedule a free pickup from their homes. Residents are allotted four free bulky item pickups annually (up to six bulky items total). To schedule a free home pick-up, contact Waste Management Customer Service at 800-423-9986.
