The City of Menifee invites its residents to gather their ghouls, ghosts, and goblins, and transform their homes for the city’s annual Haunt Your House competition.
This Halloween decorating contest offers Menifee residents an opportunity to showcase their best Halloween decorations for an opportunity to win a lawn sign recognizing their house as a winner, the opportunity to be featured on Menifee TV, and bragging rights.
This year’s categories are Scariest, Best Theme, Family-Friendly, and Most Innovative. Applications will be accepted from October 1 through October 12.
A panel of judges will crown the category winners. The community will vote for the overall winner.
Community voting will be open from October 16 through October 20. The entries will be added to a GIS map so residents can view participating homes and cast their votes.
The winners will be announced on October 25.
