The City of Menifee invites its residents to clean out and clear out their old paperwork in a safe and secure way through its free Spring Shred Fest community shredding event on Saturday, May 22, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at City Hall.
Paperwork residents may want to consider shredding includes bank and credit card statements, canceled or voided checks, pay stubs, utility bills, and other documents with personal, identifying information. Shredding is for personal documents only, not businesses.
“The City of Menifee is glad we can offer this secure way to get rid of unneeded paperwork,” said Menifee City Clerk Sarah Manwaring. “With the shredding taking place onsite right at City Hall on the day of the event, residents can feel confident that their information will be disposed of safely.”
This event is for Menifee residents only. Proof of residency is required. Residents may bring up to three banker boxes. For more information, contact Roxana Burns at 951-723-3772 or [email protected].
