On Thursday, October 21, at 10:21 a.m., all Menifee city offices will be participating in the Great California Shakeout Drill.
During the drill, employees and visitors at city facilities will be instructed to “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” for one minute. Everyone will then be directed to the parking lot. After a quick roll call, participants will be able to return to the building.
International ShakeOut Day is always held on the third Thursday of October. As of October 14, 23,907,276 participants are registered in 2021 Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills worldwide. For more information, visit shakeout.org.
