City of Murrieta to host 9/11 Tribute

The City of Murrieta invites the community to gather in honor of the lives lost on September 11, 2001. A Remembrance Ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 11, at 5:30 p.m. at Town Square Park and Amphitheater.

This solemn event will feature remarks from Mayor Cindy Warren, Murrieta Police Chief Matt Henry, and Fire Chief Bernie Molloy, as the city reflects on the tragedy that forever changed the nation.

Community members are welcome to attend this meaningful gathering as the city pays tribute to the victims, honors the first responders, and stands united in remembrance of that day.
