The City of Temecula invites the community to the Temecula Duck Pond on Sunday, September 11, at 4 p.m. to commemorate the anniversary of September 11 and remember and honor those lost.
Mayor Rahn along with other city leaders will be present at this memorial. All guests are invited to leave a message in the city’s “Keepsake Journal.” A quiet moment of reflection will be followed by light refreshments.
“As we reflect on September 11 and the events that transcended the world 21 years ago, we will never forget the innocent lives lost, including our courageous first responders, ” Mayor Rahn said.
The Temecula Duck Pond is located on the corner of Rancho California and Ynez Roads. Parking and seating are limited.
