The City of Temecula will host the 17th Annual Temecula Special Games on Saturday, March 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Great Oak High School football stadium, 32555 Deer Hollow Way.
This inclusive and uplifting event is designed to cater to athletes of all ages with developmental disabilities, providing a platform to participate in non-competitive games and an awards ceremony recognizing their achievements.
Each participant will be paired with a high school volunteer, who will act as a buddy during the event and participate alongside them. Adult volunteers will assist with the various games and activities, fostering a welcoming and encouraging environment for all participants.
All athletes will be presented with a participation medal. Student volunteers will receive community service hours.
