The City of Temecula will be hosting the 2025 Temecula Special Games, set to take place on Saturday, March 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Great Oak High School football stadium, located at 32555 Deer Hollow Way.
Special Games is an inclusive event designed to celebrate and cater to athletes of all ages with developmental disabilities, providing them with a platform to participate in non-competitive games and an awards ceremony.
Each athlete will be paired with a high school volunteer, who will serve as their buddy during the event, offering encouragement and participating alongside them.
Adult volunteers will assist with the various games and activities, fostering a welcoming and encouraging environment for all participants.
Each athlete will be presented with a participation medal. Student volunteers will receive community service hours for their involvement.
