City of Temecula to host 2nd annual CultureFest

In commemoration of World Day for Cultural Diversity, the City of Temecula will be hosting its 2nd annual CultureFest on Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Temecula Civic Center, 41000 Main St. This event provides an opportunity for the community to engage in intercultural experiences to promote respect, understanding, and unity.

This free, community-wide event features live music, dancing, special performances, family-friendly activities, and a large vendor area showcasing many different cultures through a variety of booths exhibiting foods, crafts, and education.

The entertainment schedule is as follows:

Civic Center Stage

  • 10 a.m. MC Timmy D & DJ Young Vic (All Day)
  • 10:30 a.m. Brazilian Dance Co.
  • 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.  Vylani’s Polynesian Dancers
  • 12 to 1 p.m. Mariachi’s & Ballet Folklorico Dance
  • 1:15 to 1:45 p.m. Komai Japanese Taiko Drums
  • 2 to 2:20 p.m. African Drums & Dance
  • 2:30 to 2:55 p.m. Acme Time Machine Band
  • 3 to 3:20 p.m. QIPao Club Chinese Clothing Expedition
  • 3:30 to 4 p.m. Acme Time Machine Band

Sam Hicks Monument Park Gazebo Stage

  • 10 a.m. GOHS Polynesian Dance
  • 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. GOHS Polynesian Dance
  • 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. Min Zhou Chinese Clothing with music
  • 12 to 12:30 p.m. African Drums & Dance
  • 1 to 1:30 p.m. Brazilian Dance Co.
  • 1:45 to 2:15 p.m. Ballet Folklorico Co.
  • 2:30 to 3 p.m. DJ Fun Time Music Line Dance/Salsa
