In honor of Councilman Randy Bonner’s years of service on the Canyon Lake City Council and 28 years of service in the Marine Corps Reserves, city staff took up a collection to purchase a military banner.
The banner was presented to Bonner during Wednesday’s City Council meeting. It will be on display on pole in front of City Hall for the next two years.
Bonner served on the City Council from 2010 to 2014 and 2016 to 2020. He served as mayor in 2014 and 2017. He did not seek re-election this year. Bonner will attend his last City Council meeting on Monday, December 7.
