For the third consecutive year, the City of Canyon Lake will adorn the front yard of every home in Canyon Lake with an American flag in honor of Memorial Day. This initiative aims to honor the nation’s heroes and beautify the community with a meaningful display of patriotism.

With 4,800 properties to cover, the city enlisted the help of volunteers for this project. From Wednesday, May 22, through Friday, May 25, more than 60 volunteers will be out in the community planting flags in front yards.

In addition, volunteer Debby Gagnon of Pack, Wrap, and Post will be planting more than 100 flags in the Veterans Memorial Park in the Canyon Lake Towne Center.
