Golfers invited to participate in Canyon Lake Association of Past Presidents Beautification Tournament

The Canyon Lake Association of Past Presidents (CLAPPS) invites all golfers to participate in its annual Beautification Tournament to help raise funds for the beautification of the golf course.

The tournament will be held on Saturday, April 29, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The entry fee is $60 and includes lunch. Green fees and cart fees are not included. Signups are taken at the Pro Shop.

The format is partners best ball. Golfers may pick their own foursome. Scramble flight for players with no handicap, mulligans, and Closest to the Pin and Hole in One contests. The tournament also includes a live auction and raffle prizes.

Formed in September 1989, the CLAPPS is made up of past presidents of the Men’s Golf Club. The CLAPPS has a long history of supporting the golf course, having raised more than $100,000 for golf course improvement projects.
