Canyon Lake Association of Past Presidents invites all golfers to participate in Beautification Tournament

The Canyon Lake Association of Past Presidents (CLAPPS) invites all golfers to participate in its annual Beautification Tournament, slated for Saturday, April 27, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Proceeds will go toward beautification projects for the golf course.

This year’s tournament promises excitement with a partners best ball format, allowing golfers to pick their partners, foursomes. Scramble flight for players with no handicap.

In addition to competition on the greens, this event features a live auction, raffle prizes, and a hole-in-one opportunity to win a Kandi Kruiser six-passenger golf cart sponsored by Canyon Lake Mobile Golf Cart Repair.

The entry fee is $65 and includes lunch. Green fees and cart fees are not included. Signups are taken at the Pro Shop at the Canyon Lake Country Club. For more information, contact Tom Scudieri at 602-799-2100 or [email protected].

Formed in September 1989, the CLAPPS is made up of past presidents of the Men’s Golf Club. The CLAPPS has a long history of supporting the golf course, having raised more than $100,000 for golf course improvement projects.
