The Canyon Lake Community Gardeners Club will be hosting a Harvest Trade on Sunday, February 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. at the new Community Garden on Schooner Dr.
Community members are invited to bring their homegrown fruits, veggies, and plants to trade.
“Community members who don’t have anything to trade can still join us to see the progress of the community garden, take home free seeds, and be inspired to grow their own gardens,” club founder Kelly Lopez said. “I’m excited for people to see the progress on the community garden. The construction of all the raised garden beds will be completed this week.”
Following the Harvest Trade, the club will be hosting a Succulent Wreath Workshop on Saturday, February 24, at 2 p.m. at the Eastport Activities Building. The cost is $25 and includes all supplies.
For more information about the Harvest Trade or to RSVP for the Succulent Wreath Workshop, call or text Kelly Lopez at 951-609-6723.
