Meet fellow gardeners, chat about last season’s gardening, and get ready for fall at the Canyon Lake Community Gardeners meeting on Wednesday, October 12, at 5:30 p.m. at the lodge.
“We have a ton of seeds to give away,” club founder Kelly Lopez said. “We’ll also have some free plant starts and soil amendments. Hilda’s Garden Pebbles (local organic goat manure) will be for sale for $10/bag. Hilda will donate $2 to the club for every $10 purchase.
Members will also take a closer look at the lodge’s rose garden and discuss a plan to improve it.
“Come on out and get a start on your garden, make some friends, and learn some tips and tricks from each other,” Lopez said.
