The POA Board of Directors invites the community to attend the virtual Community Patrol RFP Workshop on August 25 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be conducted via Zoom. Members may join this meeting at vm.clpoa.net or by phone at 1-669-900-6833. The meeting ID is 870 7881 7252 #.
The Community Patrol service contract is scheduled to be renewed this fall. The workshop is an opportunity for the board to share the security program and the proposed changes with members. Members are invited to join the discussion, share their concerns, and give input.
Over the past few months, board members have received both open testimony and written emails related to security. Among the concerns include lack of written speeding tickets, illegal parking, staffing at the gates, marine patrol presence, and inconsistent enforcement of the rules. These concerns have been considered and, where appropriate, addressed in the RFP.
The workshop will stream live on the POA Facebook page and will be posted on the POA website at a later date. Members may submit written requests via email on the day of the meeting or during the meeting at [email protected] Members may also chat request through Zoom during the meeting.
