The Community Patrol service contract is scheduled to be renewed this fall. The workshop is an opportunity for the board to share the security program and the proposed changes with members. Members are invited to join the discussion, share their concerns, and give input.
Over the past few months, board members have received both open testimony and written emails related to security. Among the concerns include lack of written speeding tickets, illegal parking, staffing at the gates, marine patrol presence, and inconsistent enforcement of the rules. These concerns have been considered and, where appropriate, addressed in the RFP.
The workshop will stream live on the POA Facebook page and will be posted on the POA website at a later date.
