The City of Lake Elsinore invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of its new Civic Center. A ribbon-cutting will be held on Thursday, October 1, at 4 p.m. at 130 S. Main Street. Free parking and shuttle service will be available from 184 S. Main Street to the new Civic Center.
The community is invited to join city officials, community leaders, local businesses, and residents in celebrating this significant milestone and experiencing the city’s newest public facility firsthand.
More than a new municipal building, the Civic Center represents a long-term investment in Lake Elsinore’s future—bringing city services together under one roof to create a one-stop shop for a more efficient, customer-focused experience for residents, businesses, developers, and investors.
Designed to improve collaboration among city departments, the new Civic Center streamlines development review, permitting, business assistance, and public services. By modernizing operations and improving coordination between departments, the city is reducing processing times, increasing responsiveness, and creating a more seamless experience for those looking to live, work, invest, and do business in Lake Elsinore.
As one of Southern California’s fastest-growing communities, the Civic Center positions Lake Elsinore to meet the needs of its expanding population and economy.
“The opening of our new Civic Center represents far more than a new building—it represents our commitment to serving our community better,” Mayor Bob Magee said. “By bringing our teams together in one modern facility, we’re creating a more efficient Civic Center that saves time, reduces costs, and makes it easier for residents, businesses, developers, and investors to work with the city. This investment reflects our confidence in Lake Elsinore’s future and ensures we’re prepared to support the continued growth and prosperity of our community for generations to come.”
The continued investment of the Civic Center in Historic Downtown Main Street underscores the city’s commitment to revitalizing Main Street and strengthening the heart of the community. Increased daily activity from city employees, residents, visitors, and business partners is expected to support downtown restaurants, retailers, and local businesses, while creating new opportunities for private investment.
The Civic Center serves as a catalyst project within the city’s Dream Extreme 2040 vision, helping activate Downtown Main Street as a vibrant civic, commercial, and cultural destination. Alongside ongoing public and private investments, the project advances the city’s long-term plans to create a walkable, thriving downtown that supports local businesses, attracts new development, and enhances quality of life for residents and visitors.
