In preparation for Canyon Lake Little League’s spring season, the league is holding a Field Clean-Up Day on Saturday, February 22, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The league invites parents, players, coaches, community members, and teens who need volunteer service hours for school to join the effort.
Volunteers are needed to fill holes, replace bases, build up the pitcher’s mound, clean dugouts, rake leaves, pick up trash, and prepare the infield. Tasks will be assigned by skill level or ability.
The league will have a limited amount of supplies. Volunteers who have shovels, gloves, wheelbarrows, brooms, rakes, and other supplies are asked to bring them if possible.

This community event is a great way to support youth sports and ensure the league is ready for its spring season.
