The Canyon Lake Yacht Club invites the community to participate in its annual Spring Lake Cleanup on Saturday, May 4. Volunteers will meet at Diamond Point Park at 9 a.m. for instructions and maps.
Community members can participate by boat or golf cart. Non-boat owners can join aboard one of the Yacht Club boats.
Boats will navigate along the shoreline where crews will pick up debris that can be reached from the boat. Golf Cart participants will go to park beaches to pick up debris and trash along the shoreline. Trash bags and nets will be provided by the club.

Later that evening, club members, guests, and volunteers will gather for a sunset cruise, meeting at the Holiday Harbor docks for shared appetizers at 5:30 p.m. and setting sail at 6:15 p.m. Attendees should bring an appetizer to share and their own beverages.
