Darcy Burke announced her candidacy for another four-year term on the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District Board.
Burke was elected to the board in 2018. The board appointed her to serve as president in 2021. She represents Division 1, which includes Canyon Lake, Tuscany Hills, Canyon Hills, and other areas of Lake Elsinore.
Burke has extensive experience in the water industry and has focused her professional efforts on strategic planning, operation efficiencies, communications, and legislative regulatory affairs.
A Canyon Lake resident for 22 years, Burke was instrumental in protecting existing encroachments for waterfront property owners. She also worked with Congressman Calvert to secure funding for the Canyon Lake Water Treatment Plant and helped other homeowner associations in accessing rebates and other water-saving incentives.
