Demolition started last week on the badly leaking golf course lake near hole 13. In September 2019, the POA Board of Directors approved funding in the amount of $359,896.51 from the Repair and Replacement Fund for the renovation of the lake. The lake, which was last modified in the 1980s, is being reconfigured with natural sloping sides, a new liner, and a new earthen bridge. The new lake will be slightly smaller than the previous lake. According to the POA, the new lake could save the POA more than $80,000 per year on its water bill and pay for itself within five years.
