Deputies found approximately 400 marijuana plants in various stages of growth located inside a greenhouse at a residence in the 18000 block of Cambern Avenue in Lake Elsinore.
On July 29, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Problem Oriented Policing Team received information regarding a possible illegal outdoor marijuana cultivation occurring in Lake Elsinore.
Deputies served a search warrant at the residence on July 31 and located a large greenhouse structure on the property that was being used for an illegal marijuana cultivation site. Approximately 400 marijuana plants in various stages of growth were located inside the greenhouse, according to the sheriff’s department.
Alejandro Franco Rivas, a 29-year-old resident of Perris, was taken into custody and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for illegal marijuana cultivation, according to a news release issued by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
