Riverside County is urging residents to protect against seasonal flu by getting a flu shot.
Flu shots are available for free from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations:
“Residents should get their flu shot before the end of October,” said Riverside County Public Health Officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser. “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend all persons six months of age and older receive a flu vaccination each year.”
Kaiser also recommends frequent hand washing and avoiding getting close to people who are sick as ways to avoid the flu.
