Investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Unit responded to the Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale regarding allegations that a teacher at the school committed lewd acts with a minor student.
The investigation found evidence that teacher Amanda Quinonez, 30, committed lewd acts with one male student and distributed explicit photos of a sexual nature to that student, according to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department.
Quinonez was arrested at the school and jailed at the Robert Presley Detention Center on April 12. Her bail was set at $50,000 and she was released the following day, according to jail records. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 14.
