An eight-year-old boy was killed on Sunday after being struck by a vehicle in the City of Menifee. Cal Fire responded to the scene in the 29000 block of Shadow Hills Street at 7:05 p.m. The victim perished at the scene, Cal Fire reported.
Several individuals at the scene performed Life-saving measures, according to Sergeant Matt Bloch of the Menifee Police Department. The driver stayed at the scene and was cooperative, Bloch said. Alcohol is not considered a factor.
