Among a diverse collection of Inland Empire organizations considered for the distinction, Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) is one of 25 companies to be recognized as a Top Workplace in the Inland Empire for 2020. Organizations located within Riverside and San Bernardino counties, as well as several Los Angeles County communities, were eligible for consideration.

EVMWD, staffed by members of the Water Employee Services Authority (WESA), was selected as a Top 10 workplace in the midsize business category. This decision was based upon employee feedback collected by a third-party employee research and technology firm and compiled by the Inland News Group. A total of 12,510 employees in the region received surveys and 8,340 responded.

“It is an honor to be recognized amongst the many outstanding businesses and organizations in our region,” said Phil Williams, board president of WESA and EVMWD. “The dedication and service of our staff are exemplary and all credit for this award goes to them. They have made EVMWD into the top workplace it is today.”

EVMWD provides service to more than 155,000 water and wastewater customers in a 97-square mile service area in Western Riverside County. EVMWD is a sub-agency of the Western Municipal Water District and a member agency of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
