Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) announced that construction will begin later this month on the Diamond Regional Sewer Lift Station and Dual Forcemains Project near Diamond Stadium at Malaga Road and Elm Street.
he two-year project will build a new sewer lift station designed to accommodate up to 6.6 million gallons of flow per day.
In addition, approximately 3,400 linear feet of new, parallel sewer pipelines (forcemains) will be installed in Elm Street. The project will provide the district with the ability to meet future growth needs and ultimately downsize or eliminate four existing lift stations: the Back Basin Groundwater Treatment Plant Lift Station, Summerly Interim Lift Station, B-1 Lift Station, and B-2 Lift Station.
Construction hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Nearby businesses and residents will receive construction notifications, and a construction hotline is available at 800-284-4808 for any questions.
