EVMWD to perform critical system upgrades impacting Canyon Lake, Canyon Hills, Tuscany Hills

On October 24 and 25, EVMWD will be installing new valves on a key water pipeline that serves Canyon Hills, Canyon Lake, and Tuscany Hills to prevent future water outages.

Residents are asked to limit their water use to essential activities from 5 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 25. Non-essential water use, such as outdoor irrigation, should be delayed until after 11 a.m. on Friday, October 25.

“This upgrade strengthens our water system and ensures reliable service around the clock,” EVMWD General Manager Greg Thomas said. “The installation of these valves will help prevent future outages. We appreciate residents’ patience and cooperation during this essential work.”

EVMWD sent robocalls on October 22 and 23 to inform residents about the water conservation request.
