Bundle up and join the City of Temecula for Santa’s Electric Light Parade on Friday, December 6.

Santa’s Electric Light Parade offers an enchanting evening filled with holiday cheer and a heartwarming way to celebrate the holidays with family and friends.

This beloved annual event kicks off at 7 p.m. sharp at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Del Rio Road and will travel south into Old Town Temecula.

Bring blankets and chairs to secure the perfect viewing spot for this dazzling spectacle, featuring an array of illuminated floats, festive holiday music, performers, and a special appearance by Santa himself.

Free public parking will be available in the Old Town parking garage, 6th Street parking lot, and dirt lots located at Santiago and Ynez Roads. Handicap parking will be available on 6th Street.

Main Street from bottom of ‘Y’ to Old Town Front Street will be closed from December 5 at 7 a.m. through December 6 at midnight.

On December 6, there will be road closures at the following locations:

  • First Street/Santiago Road between Pujol and C Street from 7 to 10 p.m.
  • Main Street West from 8 a.m. to midnight 
  • Jefferson heading south at Overland from 4 to 11 p.m.
  • Del Rio, Las Haciendas, and Calle Cortez from 4 to 10 p.m.
  • Jefferson Avenue: Via Montezuma to Rancho California southbound from 2 to 10 p.m.
  • Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Streets from Mercedes to Murrieta Creek from 6 to 10 p.m.
  • Old Town Front Street from Rancho California to Santiago from 6 to 10 p.m.
  • Jefferson Avenue northbound from Rancho California from 5 to 9 p.m.
  • Old Town Front Street from Santiago to 19th Hole Golf Carts on OTFS from 7 to 11 p.m.
  • Rancho California Road: Old Town Front Street to Diaz Road from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • First Street/Santiago Road between Pujol and C Street from 7 to 10 p.m.
