In November 2021, Erin joined the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce and served as the director of Community Events. In her role, Erin helped to plan the chamber’s community events, such as the Parade of Frights.
Erin currently serves on the executive board as the treasurer/secretary and is working with the chamber to form a Women in Business group. The new group will meet quarterly, with the first meeting set for May 18.
Erin recently accepted an opportunity to serve as a director for the Canyon Lake Enrichment, Activities and Recreation (C.L.E.A.R.) Foundation, a nonprofit foundation geared at enriching the lives of Canyon Lake kids through programs and recreational activities that promote conservation, lake stewardship, water safety, awareness, team building, and community involvement.
In addition to serving the Canyon Lake community, Erin serves on the Gala Committee for St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church.
A professional event planner for 23 years, Erin switched professions four years ago and founded Queen of Fun Travel. The self-proclaimed workaholic is a certified luxury travel advisor, who has many specialties and certifications.

An avid traveler, Erin traveled to seven destinations in 2022: Nevada, Mexico, Colorado, Florida, Maui, Alaska, and the Caribbean.
When not traveling and volunteering, Erin enjoys spending time with her friends in the lake, whether it’s boating or floating, hockey games, reading, and watching her husband perform as a drummer in the band Steel Canyon.
Erin said she truly feels honored to serve as a volunteer for the organizations she’s a part of. “They are full of some of the most amazing people I’ve met,” she said. “They make me want to be better.”
