Canyon Lake Fire Chief Jeff LaTendress on Wednesday presented the public with statistics for the month of April.
Station 1 responded to 83 calls in the month of April. They include four fire calls, 61 rescue/EMS incidents, one hazardous condition, five service calls, 10 good intent calls, and two fire alarm and false calls.
The four fires include a dumpster fire at Happy Camp, a grease fire at Canyon Lake Market, a vehicle fire on Railroad Canyon Road, and a structure fire at the condos due to material left on the stove.
The dispatch to en route response time was 1.07 minutes. The average en route to arrival time was 4.37 minutes.
Engine 1 responded to 13 incidents outside of the city. They include nine incidents in the City of Lake Elsinore, two in the City of Perris, and two in unincorporated areas. Riverside County responded to nine incidents inside the City of Canyon Lake.
