Firefighters respond to fire at Lake Elsinore McDonald’s

Smoke rises from the top of the McDonald’s restaurant, where a fire broke out shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Cal Fire crews responded today to a commercial structure fire at a McDonald’s restaurant in the 18200 block of Collier Avenue.

The single-story building caught fire shortly before 3 p.m., prompting a swift response from firefighters.

According to Cal Fire, the blaze was confined to one fryer unit within the restaurant. Firefighters remained on scene after extinguishing the flames to check for possible extension into surrounding areas and to remove the smoke.

No injuries were reported.
