Funding approved for Canyon Lake’s fireworks show

The CLPOA Board of Directors approved funding in the amount of $40,000, plus the cost of preparation of Skipper’s Island and inspection by the fire department, for Canyon Lake’s 2020 fireworks show. The cost includes the choreographed music to be heard from 99.9 Kola radio. The fireworks will be launched from Skipper’s Island at approximately 9 p.m. Spectators can tune into 99.9 FM to hear music synchronized to the fireworks show from anywhere around the lake. Canyon Lake has one of the best fireworks show in Riverside County, making it a popular destination for its residents and their guests. The population soars by the thousands as residents host parties and barbecues throughout the lake community.
