Got junk? The City of Canyon Lake is partnering with CR&R to host its annual Community Clean-Up on Saturday, September 19, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Canyon Lake Community Church parking lot at 30515 Railroad Canyon Rd. Shredding services will also be available.
Held exclusively for Canyon Lake residents, participants must show proof of residency.
Residents may dispose of furniture, yard waste, large appliances, electronic waste, cooking and motor oil, antifreeze, and common household batteries.
Items that will not be accepted include tires, car parts, household hazardous waste, and construction materials. Commercial and business dumping will not be permitted.
The event will also offer a compost giveaway. The nutrient-rich compost is perfect for yards, potted plants, or spring gardens. A limited supply of bags and shovels will be available, and compost will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
