The spirit of summer and community fun will be in full swing on Saturday, September 12, at Indian Beach as the Canyon Lake Yacht Club hosts Canyon Lake’s 14th Annual Paddle and Pedal Regatta.
This event kicks off with a group photo at 9 a.m., followed by a group paddle to the Eastport launch ramp and back. The round-trip journey covers approximately one mile. Awards will be presented to the top contenders.
All paddleboards, pedal boats, kayaks, canoes, and other non-motorized watercraft are welcome to participate.
Adding a splash of tropical fun, Hawaiian attire is encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for the best Big Kahuna (adult) and Little Kahuna (youth) costumes.
After the paddle, participants are invited to stay for the presentation of awards, a cardboard boat race, socializing, and a complimentary barbecue. Participants should bring their own refreshments to stay cool and hydrated.
