Holland Road Overpass work to start January 16, road closures expected

Work on the Holland Road Overpass in the City of Menifee is expected to start on January 16. This project will help reduce traffic on Newport Road and Scott Road by providing a new east/west route across the 215 Freeway.

On Holland Road between Antelope Road and Hanover Lane, one lane and one right-turn lane will be closed from January 16 through January 20 from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At Holland Road and Haun Road, Haun Road merging lanes and one lane in each direction will be closed from January 16 through February 24 from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Open trenches may be plated but may need to remain closed.

Motorists can expect traffic delays during the closures. Traffic control devices/signage will be placed to direct traffic around the closures. Water trucks will be used to maintain dust control during construction.

Due to the forecasted weather and on-site conditions, some work may be rescheduled to the following week. For more information, click here. For construction-related news and closure updates, visit hollandoverpass.com or call 951-200-4146.
