Anglers Kevin Hugo and Bobby Castner weighed in 19.05 lbs for the win on Saturday in the Canyon Lake Bassmasters Club’s second night tournament of the season.
With 18.95 lbs. of bass, the team of Frank Taylor and Robert Schmidt reeled in second place. Bryan Hildebrand and Josh Grootonk rounded out the top three with 18.54 lbs.
All fish were released after weigh-in.
Canyon Lake residents who enjoy fishing and want to improve their skills in a friendly, competitive environment are invited to join the Bassmasters Club. Monthly fishing tournaments are held from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first Saturday that follows the first Wednesday.
