Jordan Ehrenkranz passed away at the age of 87 years old. He was the son of Henry and Anne Ehrenkranz and was born on August 21, 1933, in Los Angeles, California.
Jordan is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jennie Ehrenkranz, their five children, Steve Doug, Alan, Cheri, and Kathryn, and their seven grandchildren, Melanie, Rachel, Mary-Chelsea, Jodi, Chase, Alexander, and London.
Jordan attended Venice High School and Los Angeles City College.
Jordan was a self-made man and started as a sheet metal apprentice at the age of 21. He started his own business at the age of 24, which he ran successfully for many years.
Jordan was very civic-minded and served on many boards and committees through the years, including 12 years on the Canyon Lake City Council with four of those years as Mayor of Canyon Lake. He also served on the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association with three of those years as president.
Jordan was an active member in his industry SMACNA Board of Directors and most proud of the honor to represent them on a national level as management panelist for the National Grievance Committee and the National Apprenticeship Contest Committee.
Jordan enjoyed being an active member of the community. When he wasn’t volunteering his time, he enjoyed traveling, bowling, and playing poker.
